Stacy Letrice
Stacy Letrice is a dancer, choreographer, instructor, mas band leader, and dance therapist with more than 20 years of experience working locally and globally. In 2017, she was crowned an official "Dancehall Queen" after competing in Minnesota. Her passion for reggae, dancehall, Afro-beats, and traditional West African dance has opened doors for her to work with artists such as Cardi B and to perform live with Busta Rhymes at the 2021 MTV Video Museum Awards.
In 2015, her experiences as a dancer and dance therapist led her to create her own brand, Jukeboxx Dance LLC, dedicated to helping others pursue happiness and healing through African and Caribbean dance. Her brand has traveled internationally, reaching Australia, Taiwan, Portugal, Jamaica, Canada, South Africa, and Nigeria. Stacy currently creates her own teaching tour within the U.S and offers weekly in-person and virtual classes in Chicago while developing her carnival mas band, Team Jukeboxx. When asked why she always dances, Stacy replies, “I know there is a God because I feel him when I dance.”
