Krystal Grover-Webb
Krystal Grover-Webb is a mosaic collage artist. Her authentic, creative style began almost twenty years ago. For Krystal, collage is symbolic of life. As each piece of paper comes together to form an image, so do our many experiences combine to create the total of who we are. Krystal’s art captures a spirit of resiliency and inner strength by bringing together small, seemingly insignificant pieces, and transforming them into a meaningful work of art. Her art has been exhibited at South Side Community Art Center, Museum of Science and Industry’s “Black Creativity” juried showcase, Woodshop Art Gallery, South Shore Cultural Center, Trinity United Church of Christ, Olive Harvey College, ETA Creative Arts Theater, Brainerd Branch Library, and Carter G. Woodson Regional Library.
She has also presented art programs at various Chicago Public Library branches. Krystal holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts and a Master of Public Administration from Drake University, along with a Master of Science in Education from Chicago State University. Krystal is an art teacher and arts liaison for Daniel S. Wentworth Elementary School.
