Kara Roseborough

Kara Roseborough is a multi-disciplinary dance artist based in Evanston. She is an alumna of the Chicago Academy for the Arts and the University of Utah, from which she holds a Bachelor of Arts in English. Roseborough is currently the Artistic Director of Evanston Dance Ensemble 2 and previously served as the Assistant Director for three years.  She is a long-time artistic associate of Fleetwood-Jourdain Theatre, for which she has performed and written plays. Her other performance credits include work with the Civic Ballet, Charleston City Ballet, South Chicago Dance Theatre, UpEnded Productions, Synapse Arts, Pittsburg Public Theatre and the World Dance Alliance. In addition to performing, writing, and teaching, Roseborough is studying to receive her Grade IV Cecchetti Ballet teaching certification. She is grateful to her parents for their love, guidance, and encouragement.
