Jenni Lamb has spent the last two decades as a performer, writer, teacher, and theater maker in Chicago. She is a former resident playwright at Chicago Dramatists and a member of the Goodman Playwrights Unit (2015). Her plays Jumble of Bones, Breaking Point, Waterway, Mother Lode, and Quiver have been featured on stages locally and nationally. She has worked on several commissions, including a Zoom play about science in the pandemic for eTopia at Northwestern University and a short audio play for Flint Repertory for their 2021 summer festival.
In addition to traditional theatre, Jenni created site-specific theatre with Living Room Playmakers, where she was a core member. She created and produced work for spaces around Chicago including an apartment, a furniture store, a bar, and a church basement. She also collaborated with Northwestern University director Damon Krometis on Thou Proud Dream, a site-specific adaptation of Henry V that was performed on a golf course. Jenni enjoys working collaboratively and has a special interest in women’s health, motherhood, and topics in science. She holds an MFA in Writing for the Screen + Stage from Northwestern University.
