AiRos 頌恩 medill
AiRos 頌恩 medill (air/airs & they/them) is a yellow hapa nonbinary trans Taiwanese American circle keeper, care worker, storyteller, facilitator, bodyworker, dancer, and culture bearer who is moving to organize abundance in the ecology of home. AiRos practices with the five elements (water, wood, fire, metal, and earth) to align bodies to heaven and earth in reciprocity and reverence of feeling and the re-distribution of energies.
AiRos is currently rooted in the lands of Zhigaagoong at Maplewood. Air has lived and visited many places throughout Asia, moving back to Turtle Island around the age of nine. As part of the diaspora, AiRos has a lifelong practice of traveling, moving through, and shifting culture. During this time AiRos has begun to hold song circles for community calling to voice as movement. AiRos makes their own clothing pieces as a way to stitch together their inheritance and adorn themselves in affirmation of shape, color, and style. Most recently AiRos completed a series of nine self-portraits, begun in 2018, on textile, garments, glass, and in frame.
