Violinist Arianne Urban is a Chicago-based freelance musician and an active solo, chamber, and orchestral player. Over the past two years, Arianne has been working on a personal project revolving around the collaboration of mindfulness meditation and music making and is currently working on bridging these two practices within her community. She is also an active collaborator with recording artists, arrangers, and producers working in film and session work. Arianne has collaborated with recording artists like Fatai and Chronixx and has shared the stage with world-renowned artists including Joshua Bell, Johnny Mathis, Andrea Bocelli, Edgar Meyer, Father John Misty, Gil Shaham, Gloria Estefan, Bobby McFerrin, Chick Corea, Dave Grusin, and Mark O’ Connor. A recent alumni of the Civic Orchestra of Chicago, Arianne holds a graduate degree from DePaul University, as well as a Bachelors of Music from the Frost School of Music.
