Anita Fillmore Kenney
Anita Fillmore Kenney has been a dance educator, choreographer, and performer in the Chicago area for over 20 years. She is the Associate Executive Director of MOMENTA and has been influential in MOMENTA’s physically integrated dance programming. Her work there has given her the opportunity to perform at the first Chicago ReelAbilities Disabilities Film Festival, the Bodies of Work Festival, Chicago’s Disability Pride Parade, the Spring to Dance Festival in St. Louis, the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in Lincoln, Nebraska, and many times at Access Living. Anita holds an MFA in Dance Performance and Choreography from the Tisch School of the Arts (NYU). She has had the pleasure of performing with a diverse group of emerging and venerable artists in Chicago and New York, including Alice Sheppard, Atalee Judy/BoneDanse/Breakbone Dance Co., Kyle Abraham/Abraham.In.Motion, ProjectLIMB, and Jim Morrow/Instruments of Movement.
